ABOUT GHOSTS

Once and a while, there are extraordinary circumstances surrounding a death, and these exeptional circumstances create what we call ghosts and hauntings.

A ghost appears to be a surviving emotional memory of someone who has died traumatically and usually tragically, but is aware of their death. Some ghosts may not realize they are dead but may be confused as to where they are or why they don't feel quite the way they used to feel. Unwilling to part with the physical world, such human personalities continue to stay on in the very place where their tragedy or their emotional attachment had existed before they died. To put it another way is to say that a ghost is a human being trapped by special circumstances in this world while already being of the next.

Ghost and spirits are not the same thing. Spirits are surviving personalities of people who pass through the door of the other world and are fully capable of continuing a full existence in the next dimension. Spirits can think, reason and act and are capable of passing from one dimension to another, to come back and visit a loved one or family they left behind. they might want to let people in this world know they are all right over there.

Ghosts too may have unfinished business, but are generally unable to convey their requests clearly. I have found that some ghosts have learned how to move objects or make them disappear and reappear. This may be a way to try to capture your attention so they can let us know that they are here. They open windows or doors and have a way of drawing energy from appliances and lights.

Here are some general characteristics about ghosts.

They disappear or pass through walls, closed doors or solid objects.

They can be seen by multiple viewers and they can only be seen by some but not all of the people in a group.

They are visible and audible to certain people.

Sometimes behave with reguard to the lighting of a place. they cast shadows or block light as they pass through it.

Ghosts can disappear while you are watching them.

They become transparent and slowly fade away.

They dont leave footprints.

They are often perceived by animals.

Appear three dimensional.

Are often accomanied by a feeling of cold.

And they often appear as a "presence": you feel them in the room without actually seeing them.

Ghosts can be found in many different places, such as churches, cemeteries, theatres, homes, businesses, schools, hotels, battlefields, the list goes on.

I have been fasinated with ghosts since I was a child and have been doing seriouse research on the subject for quite a few years, but I am no expert. I don't think anyone can be on this subject and be leary of anyone who claims to be. I think of it as some people have more experience than others do.
